Eve's Story Eve was started in 2003 on Main Street in Jamestown by Angeline Flowers. She and her two young daughters owned and ran Eve along with another shop in town. When new business dreams occurred, the Flowers girls needed to find new owners for Eve. This sounded like a great business to Sharon Marshall, as well as her own two young daughters.
All three were regular customers at Eve prior to ownership. The Marshalls bought Eve in January of 2005, not knowing a thing about running a retail shop. It wasn't long, though, before Eve seeped into their veins. Sharon brought in some of her favorite lines and more jewelry. To create an inviting ambiance, local artist Cheryl Guhl added the roses painted throughout the store, becoming an Eve trademark. To draw in customers, artist Tracy Knopf brought in her exquisite mosaic mirror, which certainly did draw in crowds. In a very short amount of time, Eve evolved and became her own. Eve's Attic, a junior boutique, was opened for a summer in the residential loft above. Three years passed in the little town of Jamestown. On one fateful day in June the phone rang. It was an exciting call inviting Eve to relocate to the new Town Square being built in Copperopolis. The girls took a drive over and were amazed at the development!
There really wasn't any debate over moving Eve out to the new location. Eve has truly become a member of the Marshall family and has brought forth so many great experiences and opportunities. We hope that Eve continues to prosper and grow, and allow us to share our love of beautiful things with our customers. Diandra and Sharon Marshall
